Hello,
Thanks for the many replies to my query on experiences with the
new HP LYSYS II v2.0. In our lab we loaded the software on one of
our 8MB HP's (8MB is needed for this new version), and after letting
everyone in the lab try it for a few days, the consensus was to go
back and reload the earlier version.
The comments included:
" ...using it here so Mac data can be handled by HP's"
" ...to me a major disappointment"
"....wheb analysing histograms, the name of the last file to be put
on the screen appears in the file name section on hist stats of
all hists on the screen"
" slower, frustrating for users of version 1.1... it seems that
the top acquisition rate is around 3,700 events/sec... 500
events slower thatn 1.1"
Our experience is that:
The bug in which sorting regions/gates don't always move
between analysis and acquisition pictures is still present.
The overlay line patterns are not very clear.
The overlay picture is labeled "Overlay" on the top of
the page, instead of a file number
Seems slower, with lots of "warning boxes" being displayed.
