I have been told that there are two types of anti-CD4 mAbs: those that bind to an epitope proximal to the T-cell surface and those that bind to a more distal epitope. As I am looking for an antibody that will bind to a site that is resistant to enzyme digestion, I would like to try both classes of mAb. Does anyone on the flow network have any information about these two types of anti-CD4 Abs -- and how I can find out which commercial antibodies fall into which category? Thanks.
