Has anyone had any experience with the Optronics color ccd for quantitative fluorescence? (P.S. quantitative fluorescence is defined as the amount of photons emitted from an object in relation to the amount of probe/protein present....not percent of cells or area of a certain color). Is it linear? How do you handle color cross-talk with multiple fluorochromes? How long does it take to integrate a low level signal? Are there any other color ccd's that are good for quantitative fluorescence? Ken Castleman mentioned a camera at the meeting in Colorado but was not at liberty to give brand names etc. What camera was that---any experience? Are we still waiting for the technology?
