I am looking for somebody interested in hematologic malignancies with a BS or MS in biology or related subjects. Experience would be great but is not a requirement.
I run the flow cytometry/stem cell/molecular oncology laboratory at Our Lady of Mercy Cancer Center in the Bronx, NY. We are the reference laboratory for leukemia translational research for the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group. We do flow cytometry on all types of leukemia and lymphoma, we process peripheral blood and bone marrow stem cells, and we do qualitative and quantitative PCR for various transcripts found in leukemias.
We are located in the Bronx at the border to Yonkers and a few miles from Westchester. We also have easy access to Manhattan and the other borrows. OLM offers a competetive benefits package. Salary depends on experience.
