The Flow Cytometry Resource of Safety Assessment/Cellular Pathology at GlaxoSmithKline has an opening for an undergraduate co-op student. The Cellular Pathology Flow Cytometry Resource is involved in toxicological safety assessment of drugs in development using animal and cell culture models. The prospective candidate would learn multiple flow cytometry techniques and instrument platforms. The lab contains three BD instruments, FACSCalibur, LSR II, FACSDiVa. This is a great opportunity for an undergraduate with a little bit of flow cytometry experience to learn to operate multiple flow cytometers, new techniques (up to 8-color) and to gain industry experience. We are located in King of Prussia, PA, 20 miles west of Philadelphia. The start date is Jan 13, 2003.
