Dear Analia, intracellular staining of cytokines (or other proteins) is no problem in a lot of cell types. But which lung cells are you talking about. Is it lavage? Is it lung tissue? Are the cells stimulated in a special way? With a bit more information I might be able to help you specifically. You can find more information at http://home.wanadoo.nl/flowcytometry Don't hesitate to contact me with specific questions. I know of papers on the staining of human lavage cells. Do a Pubmed search. I want to start doing intracellular cytokine detection by flow cytometry, on murine lung samples and I wanted to know about a good protocol for doing this, since I know there exist some tips that could be very helpful for me. The antibodies we have are from Pharmingen. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks Analía Rial
