Job opening at Beckman Coulter, Immunomics Operations.
We have the following immediate opportunity in San Diego, California for a
Principal Systems Support Specialist at our Immunomics division.
Incumbent will be
responsible for:
Multiple color flow
cytometric experimental
design, acquisition setup
and analysis
Including experimental
design and new
applications development
in immune response
monitoring.
Forming and maintaining
strategic scientific
collaborations with
"thought leaders" for the
purpose of new application
development
Technical customer
support, troubleshooting,
and training
Will work closely with
strategic and tactical
marketing to design,
develop and position new
products and write
technical marketing
material. Requires
excellent interpersonal
and communication skills.
Qualifications
BS Required, Graduate
degree preferred, in the
Biosciences. 5 years
Laboratory experience in
Immunology or area of
immune response required;
10 years preferred.
Expertise in multiple
color flow cytometry
preferred. Experience with
assays associated with
immune response monitoring
such as tetramer, ELISA's,
Elispots, and
intracellular cytokine
preferred. Customer
support skills and/or
experience preferred.
