Hello All, We have been testing a rat cell line for phagocytosis. Although the particular cell line is not known to be related to macrophages, we suspect their presence due to possible phagocytosis taking place. Can anyone suggest the best way to detect rat macrophage presence? I'd rather not go the biotin/streptavidin route that was suggested to me originally by a vendor. Thanks in advance for any insight.
