Partec offers beside complete lines of flow cytometers, reagents, and
antibodies also flow cytometry software: For example we have a sophisticated
data analysis software in our program. This is FloMax which runs under
Windows 95/98 and XP.
The current version of Partec FloMax software can analyse up to 32
parameters, which can be directly measured parameters like pulse height,
area, and width for any of 16 optical parameters, plus calculated
parameters, e.g. Fl1/Fl2 ratio etc.
All parameters, measured or calculated, can be flexibly used for
multi-parameter gating in one-parameter histograms or 2-parameter dotplots.
FloMax® software is including multiple on-line gating, logical gates and
colour gating. N-colour on-line and off-line software compensation is an
other unique feature of FloMax® software. Data may be acquired with
compensation or as uncompensated raw data. Either way compensation can be
done, undone or changed after analysis on stored data.
For data elaboration quadrant analysis, cell cycle analysis, peak analysis
and other sophisticating features are available. For automation, regions,
gates, and logical gates, and the scheme of how gates are applied to plots
(and statistics), can be saved as a template ("application"). Once set up,
such templates can be quite easily applied to a series of measurements or
panels. An optional report function allows the generation and the individual
design of analysis report sheets as Word or Excel documents. Additionally,
we are currently evaluating automated cluster analysis algorithms. FloMax
data files are FCS-2 standard files and therefore fully compatible to all
commercial FCM data elaboration software:

Please find for your evaluation a demo version of FloMax on our website. The
difference from the full version of FloMax is the limitation to read only
the first 5000 signals of each data file.

make adaptions according to the evolving requirements of many-parameter
analysis in order to fulfill the needs of new applications.
