[aerosol containment]

Dear All,
We have recently done some preliminary testing on the aerosol containment
of our moflo. We found a spot on the left hand side of the chamber door,
near the evacuation tubing, that allows aerosols to escape (aerosols
escape from gap btw door and chamber, not evacuation tubing). We want
to use something to "fill in" the gap between the door and the
rest of the chamber. I'm not sure what the best thing is to use. We could
use silicone gel, weather stripping, tape, etc... Of course, we need
something that we can clean and disinfect when we do start doing
biohazardous work (or something that is "single use"
disposable). Has anyone used any products to fill in the gaps between the
chamber door and the rest of the chamber??? If not, do you have any ideas
as to what the best material would be? Also remember that we still need
the door to open and shut smoothly.
thanks,
Ryan
