Dear readers, I have a pretty simple question (I think!). What is the expression levels of CD4 in granulocytes (human)? During one of my experiments I noticed that 0.2% of grans are CD4+ve. In one reference I read it as <1%. My question here is: Do one <1% of the grans express CD4 (<1 in 100 cells) or is it quantitative in comparison to T-cells (i.e <1% of the CD4 expression in T cells). Does anyone know of any relevant references? Also curious to know what is the significance of the expression of CD4 in grans. Thanks a bundle for any helpful response.
