Thanks to everyone who responded - and boy were there a lot of responses! Seems most use the old tried-and-true flick method followed by manual washing with pipet tips. Some people did say they've used plate washers. Most also put the plate on a vortex to resuspend. The biggest point of contention was whether to use V or U bottom plates, with a slim majority in favor of the V bottoms. We'll give that a try with the manual wash and see how that works. Most novel idea goes to Susan Dawes for suggesting using filter plates and a Millipore manifold device to suck fluid right out through the bottom. If the manual wash doesn't work we'll give that a try. THANKS! Doug Douglas S.
