Analysis problem

Hi all, I've come up against an obstacle with the cellquest software from BD. In fact I'm
not sure how to do it in any of the software packages I've used. Anyone any bright ideas?

I want to subtract data from one histogram ("positive") and another ("negative"). Then
re-analyse the listmode data from this subtracted histogram for other parameters.

Well that's the simplified version anyway. If anyone has done this and can recommend
away that doesn't involve several weeks of spreadsheets and raw data crunching I'd
be grateful.
