RE: BD LSR query

Bunny,

I have an LSR and, like you, am swamped with bench work. I DID NOT find
your original e-mail to be offensive in any way, to any body or to the
machine. The members of this list should not be replying to obviously
honest messages for help in any negative way. As to your side scatter
problem, it is a small draw back of the LSR in that the side scatter is
reflected from another dichroic and, as BD stated in their training class,
is not as sensitive or clean as on any of their other instruments. This
said, I have not had much problem eventually gettting my SSC to look similar
to the Calibur, but it does take some tweaking. Once you have it set, it
stays very stable and reliable.
