hi,
i have a basic question about flow cytometry
which you might be able to advise me on!
i look at t cell changes after injury and want to
stain cells for cd4, ki67 and tcr-vbeta
simultaneously with three different colours.

should i collect

a. 50,000 total events
b. 20,000 cd4 events?
c. 10,000 cd4+, ki67+ events?

in other words, at what point in analysis is it
useful to have a fixed number of cells between
comparison groups?

will greatly appreciate any help you can offer!
thank you,
liz purcell
