Dear Colleagues, dear Friends in the United States of America,

We want to express my deep personal compassion. All my colleagues from our hospital, laboratory and, I am most certain to speak also for all my colleagues from the scientific community in Germany and myself are shocked and terrified by this cruel and coward act of terrorism that swept over your county hitting the heart of the civilization. We all feel with you. We have the thorough conviction that we, the people from the democratic societies, have the power to withstand this attack against freedom and humanity. We are all traumatized and condemn this primitive attack on our civilization and freedom. Please accept our compassion with you, your relatives and your friends.
