Check out: Eur. J. Immunol. 2000. 30: 2612?2619: It seems that in murine
dendritic cells, MHCII cross-linking initiates apoptosis of the APC, a
phenomenon counteracted by CD40 ligation. Maybe this is what you observe
with the anti-HLADQ beads on the B cells? Also (you will probably have done
it, but it's worthwhile mentioning) it's important to wash out the azide
from the beads.
