The rapidly growing success of the company has resulted in the current availability of the following positions: Regional Sales Managers -- Assume full responsibility for developing and managing a regional sales territory, as well as recruiting and subsequently managing the sales team members for that territory, as the business develops. Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to developing and implementing regional selling strategies to significantly increase revenues, coordinating workshops, seminars, local tradeshows and training activities, as well as participating in negotiating and closing contracts for products and services. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of success in sales in the life sciences research market. Requires a self-starter who also has excellent management skills. BA/BS degree required. Technical Support Specialists Guava Technologies is now shipping its initial product, and is learning first-hand from its customers about the performance of its Guava PC* in a work environment. To provide the superior level of support to its customers that the Company requires, Guava has immediate openings for two in-house and two field Technical Support Specialists. The field technical specialists may be required to travel up to 50% of the time, making onsite visits to customers in their support region, to provide performance solutions at these customers' facilities, as well as on occasion accompanying members of the sales team, to provide technical sales support. The ideal candidate for this position will have a BS/BA in Cell Biology, Immunology or Hematology (in order of preference), with a minimum of 2-3 years' laboratory experience. Laboratory skills should be strong, with experience in handling, preparing, counting and analyzing cells. Flow cytometry experience is a plus. Candidates must also have strong communication skills, and presentation experience is a plus.
