Hi John,

     The Format Print Page may be saved for future printing by simply
printing to a file (PostScript, for example) instead of directly to the
device. WinMDI does not use the document/view architecture, so the
workspace is not saved. The SaveAs was implemented to allow the user to
export flow data as edited (gated) FCS, tab delimited text, or graphical
presentations of the data in an image format. WinMDI was originally written
as a print engine for desktop publishing, and therefore does not have all
the bells & whistles one would expect of a complete analysis package.
