May 22,2001 Dear Colleagues: The development of the Diabetes and Endocrine Departments at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School have resulted in the award of a training grant and the new establishment of cores. One of the cores in high demand is the flow cytometry center. We are looking for an individual with a Ph.D. and experience in the area of flow cytometric analysis. This individual preferably should have 3-5 years experience. This individual will work as a member of our laboratory and help in both the instruction of new flow users on novel methods and the specific analysis of cells. The title and salary will be commensurate with experience. This can be either a part time or a full time position. I would appreciate any help that you might be able to provide us by sending us potential candidates for this position.
