CD3 on T-lymphocytes after stimulation

Dear flowers,

we are having problems with detecting CD3 on PHA stimulated T-lymphocytes.
Our antibody (clone Cris7)works well on unstimulated T-lymphocytes, but not
after 48h of stimulation. According to a diagram in the Consensus Document
on Leukemia Immunophenotyping (Leukemia 10, 877-895, 1996) there seems to
be CD3 on activated T-cells. There is also a possibility that CD3 is
internalized together with TCR after activation.
I had real difficulties finding anything in literature, since CD3 and
stimulation gives me loads of papers how to stimulate with CD3.

Does anybody know if CD3 should be detectable on PHA-activated
T-lymphocytes from healthy blood donors? And if you see CD3 on activated
T-lymphocytes, which Antibody do you use?

Thanks very much in advance
