Bone Marrow Core Biopsy

I have tried to flush cells from a core bx. of leukemia patients who have a
packed marrow. I've used a TB syringe to flush PBS through the core and
even tried crushing the core. I've not had much success in getting enough
cells for flow, but when the core is processed by histology there are still
a lot of cells there. Does anyone have s better method or releasing the
cells from the biopsy?

Thanks,
