Cell/Gene Therapy Research Positions

Applications are invited for two (2) new positions at Johnson & Johnson Research Pty
Limited (JJR) in Sydney, Australia, at the level of:

Research Assistant, Research Associate or Postdoctoral Scientist

The successful candidates will be involved in an active cell/gene therapy programme;
this is part of the overall JJR focus on genetic approaches to the treatment of human
diseases. A background in haematology, particularly haematopoietic stem cells, is a
definite asset.
The skill set required includes:
*	Tissue culture, cell and molecular biology;
*	Gene transfer, particularly into haematopoietic cells;
*	Working with retroviruses, including HIV;
*	Principles and implementation of Good Manufacturing and Good Laboratory Practice;

Appointment at the level of Research Assistant/ Research Associate requires a BSc or
BSc (Hons) degree and at the level of Postdoctoral Scientist, a PhD or equivalent.
These are two year fixed positions in the first instance, and will be at the interface
between research and clinical application.

JJR is located at The Australian Technology Park near the centre of Sydney  and offers
attractive remuneration packages and an appealing environment to attract the best
