PI and fixation

Maybe it is worth reminding that cells treated with BD FACSLYSE are fixed,
even if FACSLYSE is washed out, and will became PI-positive. When comparing
samples treated with FACSLYSE with samples treated with a non-fixative
Ammonium Chloride solution, I observed that the percentage of  PI or 7-AAD
positive cells is much higher in the first group.
