Hi, flowers, Is anyone out there monitoring endothelial precursors in the periphery of adults? There seems to be a lack of concensus in the literature about numbers. Many studies require mobilized blood (GMCSF and then apheresis) to identify them, but I have come across reports that indicate that they can be measured in whole blood. My take is that these are really rare events and will require rare event analysis. Also the combination of antigens for identification and the amount of fluorescence is also at issue. I would appreciate any advice.
