Hello all-- I got a couple of requests for the answer to my question about lists of CD antigens where you can search by cell type. Here's a summary of the responses I've received: Serotec (www.serotec.com) has a very good poster that can be requested from sales rep. It is not availabe online however. Online, there are several choices: BD does let you search by leukocyte subset in their Reagents List: http://www.bdfacs.com/literature/catalog/menu.shtml Likewise, Ancell in MN provides a similar service: http://www.ancell.com/html/antibodies__by_cell_type.html Beckman Coulter provides the same service at: http://www.beckmancoulter.com/Immunotech/06-a.asp These lists are limited to the reagents that these companies sell, and do not list all of the known surface antigens for these cells. A more all encompassing, less biased list is at the following site: http://www.vetmed.wsu.edu/tkp/index.asp If you select the Taxonomic Key Program link you can search by cell type. Finally, apparently Kuby's 3rd edition immunology has such a list, but I haven’t looked at this yet. Thanks to all who responded to my query. Sometimes you just need to know where to look!!
