 IMMEDIATE OPENINGS:

 1. A full-time MANAGER of the Flow Cytometry Facility in the Fels Institute
at the Temple University School of Medicine. This laboratory is equipped
with a Coulter Elite Cytometer having cell sorting capability. Experience in
flow and sterile cell sorting and familiarity with computers is required.
Duties include sample acquisition, data analysis, cell sorting experience,
as well as instrument maintenance and trouble shooting. Prior work with
immunophenotyping and cell cycle analysis is strongly desired.  The selected
candidate will have a
bachelor's or Master's degree in the biological or biophysical sciences or
equivalent experience with a minimum of two years of relevant laboratory
experience. Salary commensurate with experience.

2-  A full-time MANAGER of the Confocal Microscopy/Imaging Facility in the
Fels Institute at the Temple University School of Medicine.  This laboratory
is equipped with an Olympus Fluoview IX-70 laser scanning confocal
microscope, an Olympus Fluorescence microscope and a graphics workstation
connected to a Kodak 8650 PS thermal printer. Experience in conventional and
confocal microscopy, imaging systems and familiarity with computers is
required. The selected candidate will have a bachelor's or Master's degree
in the biological or biophysical sciences or equivalent experience with a
minimum of two years of relevant laboratory experience. Salary commensurate
with experience.

 Candidates having expertise in both Flow Cytometry and Confocal Microscopy
