Dear group, In a quite majestic piece of stupidity I have somehow misplaced my South African FC contact details in the move from Princeton to Joberg......so...I would like to ask the same question I posted before and receive the same helpful response. I am studying microbes from water samples taken from the South African deep subsurface (>4km in some instances). I wish to use FC for basic enumeration of these samples and then develop current FISH protocols to allow further characterization at different levels. I am therefore trying to contact anyone interested in collaboration or someone that can allow me FC access preferably in the Joberg area but further afield if need be (I draw the line at the Zambian border..) I spoke to a very helpful instrument representative from SA by the name of Ank (?) and would be grateful for any contact info or other help. In response to various individuals that have enquired about the success of this approach, we go underground for the first time tomorrow and I will of course keep anyone interested informed. Thanks in advance for you help and sorry for the replication..
