The following career opportunity is located at the San Jose site: FLOW CYTOMETRY INSTRUCTOR I Description Working from the BDB Service Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts, responsible for developing and conducting technical training courses for customers. Assist with development of customer training programs. Prepare lesson plans, laboratory exercises, training guides and other course materials to support training plan. Present customer training programs following training plan and standard lesson plans. Present classroom lectures, conduct laboratory training sessions, administer examinations, and prepare student evaluations. Follow up to determine applicability of course materials. Modify training program as appropriate. Maintain classrooms, laboratories, and associated equipment. Provide training at customer facilities, including initial and follow up training, as scheduled by management. Qualifications Typically requires a BS in a related scientific discipline, or a BA in Education with a scientific minor and two years of laboratory experience or technical training experience, or equivalent combination of related technical education and experience. Requires two years of flow cytometry experience (preferably on FACS Calibur). Effective troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills, written and oral communication skills required.
