February 2, 2001 Flow Cytometry Core Facility H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, located on the University of South Florida Campus, has a technical position available in the Flow Cytometry Core Facility. The Core is seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, minimum of a BS in the biological sciences or related field, and 1-3 years of 'hands-on' experience in FLOW CYTOMETRY. The qualified candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of the facility. Duties and responsibilities include: Sample acquisition, data analysis, data management, instrument trouble-shooting, and scheduling appointments. Cell sorting experience is a preferred. The Core Facility has the following instrumentation & software: 1 FACStar Plus, 1 FACS Vantage SE, 1 FACScan, and 1 FACSCalibur. CellQuest, ModFit, and FlowJo.
