To contribute to this discussion, our lab is predominantly PC based - and
only the BD FacsCalibur is Mac based (with CellQuest). I import
CellQuest-produced Mac listmode files to the PC using TransMac. Our off line
analysis is done mainly with the excellent free WinMDI software - which
produces BMP and WMF graphics readily imported into most Windows-based
software and can be modified by Windows based graphics programs. The WMF
files, for example, can be modified by Corel Draw or any other drawing
program, so that fills, line thickness and other characteristics can be
changed. All my presentations (powerpoint, slides) and publications have
used this.
