IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR FLOW CYTOMETRIST / RESEARCH TECHNOLOGIST IN MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN
The Medical College of Wisconsin has an immediate opening for a flow cytometrist to work in a new multi-user core facility equipped with a FACS Vantage SE and a FACS Calibur. Regular duties include operation of the instruments for multiple users, protocol and application development, routine maintenance, scheduling, tracking usage of the instruments, billing and ordering supplies as well as assistance in training users. Other duties include the conduct of research projects as directed by the core facility director. Minimum requirements are BA level training in biological sciences and four years of work experience in a relevant biological field. Some prior experience with flow cytometry is required. Experience with fluorescence activated cell sorting should be noted in application. Salary in the 30’s depending on experience.
