Adherent cell detachment and adhesion molecules

Can anyone tell me how best to detch a microvascular endothelial cell line from 12 well plates. I need to measure adhesion molecules ( ICAM , PECAM , VCAM ) and selectins by flow cytometry and I have had conflicting reports saying that trypsin should not be used for detachment from the plates as it may dirupt the molecules .
Can EDTA be used , and will the fact that it's pH needs to be 8.0 to stay in solution have any effect ?

Please help !!!
