I have been asked to help to identify someone to be appointed to run the
FACS sorter facility at King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill, London ,
UK) where I shall be moving in the new year as the consultant Clinical
Immunologist & Allergist. The sorter facility is an academic facility
based in the Rayne Institute and is shared between haematology,
molecular medicine and immunology. The facility has a FACS Vantage, but
this needs to be operated and overseen by someone who has sorting
experience.ÊHe/She will also perform all immunophenotyping and sorting
and would be able to have their own research project.ÊThe position would
be a 3 year appointment in the first instance and the salary will be up
to UKP28k.
