The method described in Davis BH, Olsen S, Bigelow NC, Jenn JC: Detection of fetal
red cells in fetomaternal hemorrhage using anti-hemoglobin F monoclonal antibody by
flow cytometry. Transfusion, 38:749-756, 1998 is the basis of the FDA cleared kit from
Caltag Labs (800-874-4007), which contains the method detailed in the package insert.
Caltag also distributes Fetaltrol, a stabilized control for the assay.

I am looking for a protocol for doing fetal hemoglobin testing by flow, specifically on
a FACSCalibur.	Does anyone have such a protocol to share, and has anyone implemented
the testing in a clinical setting?
