Immunomics Operations Expansion
Beckman Coulter has begun expansion of its newest division in San Diego,
Immunomics Operations. Representing the most exciting advance in T cell
analysis and clinical trial monitoring, i-TAg MHC Tetramers, this new
technology unlocks the secrets of cellular immune response. Beckman
Coulter has identified tetramer technology as one of its key initiatives
outside its core business lines.
Immunomics is a unique scientific and business endeavor and represents
exciting employment opportunities. We are currently looking for dynamic,
team oriented scientists, preferably with experience in new technology
start up. These individuals will be able to thrive in a team oriented work
environment and respond well to changing and dynamic project priorities.
Principal Scientists ? The successful candidate has a PhD with 5+ years
research management experience, preferably in an industrial setting. Two
openings at this level: 1) T Cell immunologist with expertise in MHC and
responsibilities for managing the flow cytometry core facility, 2) Protein
chemist with experience in immunology, protein folding dynamics and
systems, knowledge of bioinformatic systems, and experienced in
characterization of proteins. Both positions require strong organizational
and people management skills with excellent written and verbal

Scientist ? The right candidate will be experienced in tissue culture,
immunoassay procedures and handling of small animals. Requires knowledge
of flow cytometry analyzer data acquisition and analysis. BS in
immunology, cell biology or related field with 2+ years experience,
