Hello Michael,
The best method that we always use is to have saponin at a higher
concentration (e.g. of 1%) and then dilute it to the required concentration
at the time of use.
I hope this helps.
Collins.

Subject: Saponin stability

This message is meant for the witty, experienced lab people among us..

I always experience a pretty rapid decay of my saponin solution (after 2-3
days). Does anybody of you have experience how to stabilize those or make
last longer ? (e.g. solvents, additives, concentration..)

Please help, if you have an idea.

Thanks a lot.

Michael
