A simple method to have cell concentration and cell size is to use the Casy-1 cell counter developed by : Schärfe System GmbH Krämerstrasse 22 D-72764 Reutlingen Phone: +49 (0) 7121 / 38786-0 Fax: +49 (0) 7121 / 38786-99 Their web page is still under construction but can be reached at : http://www.casy-technology.com/ We've been using this device for quite a while in our lab, it's fast (much faster than using an haemocytometer) and reliable. But do not expect anything else but cell counting and cell diameter, it's no flow cytometer, and do not recognize any fluorecent marker. Hope this can be of any help.
