Dear Flowers, This is rather a histology than a cytometry question. We are interested with using fluorescently-labelled bacteria to study the entry of some specific strains inside bivalve epithelial cells and we are wondering which dye would be a suitable marker for such studies. I precise that the dye needs to be resistant to glutaraldehyde, ethanol, and propylene oxide rinsing and embedding in a synthetic resin. Any inputs are welcome. Thank you, \|/ (o o) ____________oOo__(_)__oOo_____________ Bassem ALLAM Laboratoire de Biologie Marine Université Antilles-Guyane - UFR Sciences B.P. 592 97159 Pointe-ŕ-Pitre Cedex FRANCE Phone: (0) 590 93 87 25 Fax: (0) 590 93 87 24 email: bassem.allam@univ-ag.fr ______________________________________
