choice of BRIGHT antibodies/fluorochromes for monocytic IL-10 study?

Hi all,

someone wants us to look at basal level of expression of IL-10 on
monocytes/lymphocytes. There was a discussion on the group ealier
regarding defining a monocyte, and most people suggested the use of
markers such as CD33, CD14, CD64 and CD163.

The marker has to be BRIGHT because the group of patients is
notorious for poor RBC lysis. I tried BD's CD33FITC but it didn't
"stick out" enough, I really like how bright the CD14PE is on monos -
is that a good idea? Is the CD14PerCP/TC as bright on monos? The less
compensation the better :)

Maciej
