We could suggest you to look at Aaron Tomer's paper (Emory University, Atlanta, ref Tomer A et al, 1999, Determination of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia: a rapid flow cytometric assay for direct demonstration of antibody-mediated activation., Am. J. Haematol., 61:53-61) who described an easy method for HIT.
