Thomas Jefferson University Hospital has an immediate full time opening for a Bone Marrow Technologist position available at their Bone Marrow Processing Laboratory located in downtown Philadelphia. Technologists are responsible for, but not limited to: Bone Marrow and Peripheral Blood Stem Cell processing and manipulation; Flow Cytometry; Lymphocyte Proliferation; PCR based DNA analysis; Cryopreservation of cells; general QC and QA laboratory functions. The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related science field with 1-2 years experience in a clinical/biotechnical laboratory setting. He/She must be team oriented, enthusiastic, and flexible. Experience in at least one or more of the above responsibilities is preferred, but we are willing to train the ideal candidate.
