antibody centrifugation

100,000g for a mininum of 45 mins will get you monomeric IgG, in fact will leave you
with aqueous phase proteins. Use the top 2/3 of the tube to be on the safe side. If you
are worried about large aggregates (such as in sera) then a microfuge set at 13000 rpm
(high speed) for 5 min is enough.

Does anyone ultracentrifuge their labeled primary antibodies or MHC
tetramers before use in cell surface staining? If so, can someone pass
along what conditions you use (ie how many g's and for how long)? We
have a
desktop airfuge. I can't find a chart anywhere telling what size proteins
pellet at what speed. If anyone has this info, I would greatly appreciate
it.

Thanks
