Hi I work with a small DNA virus, canine parvovirus, which appears to bind to a sub-population of canine cells (Cf2Th - Thymocytes). Parvoviruses are very cell cycle dependent, only replicating in S-phase. So... I'm thinking that maybe there is a cell surface marker that may be cell cycle associated, such that the virus would gain an advantage by binding only those cells going into/or in S-phase. Does anyone know of any markers that are expressed in a cell cycle regulated pattern? EGFR? John
