An experienced and enthusiastic individual is required by the ICRF
Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) Laboratory. We are a high
throughput and high profile laboratory providing a flow cytometry
service for the ICRF Research Laboratories based in central London (UK).

Duties include: providing an operator service for the flow sorters (a
triple laser FACS Vantage and a triple laser MoFlo) including
maintenance of the instruments; training users to operate the
LaboratoryÕs four benchtop cytometers (FACScan, 2 FACSCaliburs and a
Laser Scanning Cytometer); assisting researchers in the generation,
display and analysis of results; the introduction of new techniques
appropriate to the needs of the users.

The ideal andidate should be educated to degree level and have a
background in cell biology and laboratory work. Experience in the theory
and practice of flow cytometry, particularly cell sorting, is essential.
