Hi Colin

We isolated mouse Kupffer cells by collagenase perfusion-digestion in this
publication:

Lee SH, Crocker PR, Gordon S. Macrophage plasma membrane and secretory
properties in murine malaria. J Exp Med. 163:54-74. 1986.

You might find the following reference useful:

Mc Closkey, TW, et al.	Lipopolysaccharide treatment of rats alters
antigen expression and oxidative metabolism in hepatic macrophages and
endothelial cells, Hepatology, 16: 191-203, 1992.

This work was done in a rat model system but describes Kupffer cell
isolation and the method should be similar.

Good luck,
Tom
