Hi Howard,
I have APC (American Power Conversion) line conditioners attached to power
strip that is attached to the flow cytometers and computers in my unit. This
has worked very well for us.

Last week we had a transformer melt and lost power throughout most of the
building. As good luck would have it, the MoFlo and other cytometer were
both off, but neither are on a emergency power circuit. I am wondering what
kinds of protective measures other people have in place for dealing with
spikes, mini surges, and catastrophic power loss. I know that even if the
equipment were on emergency back-up, there would be a 'Bump', during the
momentary delay while the generators started.

Thanks,

Howard
