I have routinely use Pharmingen's antibodies to mouse and human CD45
(FITC and PE conjugates) together to stain cells recovered from
hu-SCID mice, without seeing any cross-reactivity. You may be seeing
non-specific binding to the LCL due to high expression of FcR, which
should be overcome by blocking with Ig of the appropriate species.
