"Applications of Flow Cytometry in the Clinical Histocompatibility
Laboratory"

Flow cytometry is playing an active role in the histocompatibility
laboratory, augmenting or replacing assessments previously conducted using
cytotoxicity-based methods.  This overview will: (1) familiarize the
audience with the testing conducted in the clinical histocompatibility
laboratory, (2) describe flow cytometric methods being used in addition to
or in place of cytotoxicity-based methods and; (3) highlight the effect of
flow-based methods on transplant outcomes.
