For anybody in the field of cytometry and T cell immunology who is
interested in recent developments in flow cytometry especially analysis and
sorting of antigen-specific T cells, cytokine detection in live and fixed
cells or sensitive analysis of low receptor numbers we would like to
announce the:

II. Berlin Cytometry School on Antigen-specific T Cell Cytometry:

Topics of the practical course:

Sorting of cytokine secreting cells (M. Assenmacher/Bergisch Gladbach)

Cytokine analysis of antigen-specific T cells (V. Maino/San Jose)

Intracellular cytokine/chemokine analysis, Multicolor analysis (A.
Radbruch./Berlin)

Analysis of antigen-specific T cells by MHC tetramers (D. Busch/Munich)

High-sensitivity immunofluorescence/Cytometry of proliferating cells (A.
Scheffold/DRFZ)

Lectures on technical and functional aspects of antigen-specific and
cytokine cytometry will be given by:

D. Busch (Munich), F. Sallusto (Bellinzona), V. Maino (San Jose), M.
Assenmacher (Bergisch Gladbach),

A. Radbruch (Berlin), F. Annunziato (Florence), H.D. Volk (Berlin), G.
Rothe (Regensburg)

The practical course is restricted to 25 participants to allow a maximum of
hand-on experiments and discussion.
Course fee is 800.- DM (including lunch and social events)
Application should include short CV and synopsis of current research
interest

organized by Alexander Scheffold, Andreas Thiel, Michael Apel, Toralf Kaiser
